I am a recent graduate from the University of Michigan, receiving my degree in Communications Studies and Political Science, as well as a Minor in Writing. Although the end of a great time in Ann Arbor is bittersweet, I am excited to begin the next chapter, wherever that may be.

Always possessing a passion for news and media, I have found writing and design to be welcome creative outlets. Starting as a cub reporter for my high school newspaper and carrying through the publication of my senior honors thesis, I use writing as a way to communicate in ways that are most comfortable for me.

This portfolio contains my work, both academic and professional, in writing and graphic design. The most prominent aspect of my portfolio, the Capstone Project, was a major feat of my college career. However, the other pieces I have included in my portfolio are all important in their own right. The Capstone is truly the culmination of these pieces and bringing together all of my learned experiences.

Along with my passion for writing, I am also an avid fan of the Food Network, an amateur runner who once happened to finish a marathon, and a fan of all things Michigan sports.
